Markelle Fultz registered his first career triple-double as the Philadelphia 76ers won their 16th straight game and locked up the third seed in the playoffs with a 130-95 rout of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Truth be told, these Sixers are a little ahead of schedule - the playoffs were a legit goal. but the No. 3 seed?

The series will head south to Miami for game three and four on Thursday, April 18 and Saturday, April 21.

"I want to play but right now I feel like I'm not ready yet", Embiid said.

With Joel Embiid sidelined after suffering an orbital fracture off of the errant elbow of teammate Markelle Fultz, the 76ers have had to rely exclusively on their lone remaining star Ben Simmons to keep the team afloat, and so far, he's done that, and oh so much more.

"I don't think I'm ready to play", he said. Embiid leads the team with 22.9 points and 11 rebounds in 63 games, helping Philly clinch its first playoff berth since 2012. Philadelphia and Miami split their season series 2-2 with the Sixers winning the first two and the Heat winning the last two. Embiid, Simmons and Fultz all played crucial roles in leading the Sixers (52-30) to their best record since the 2001 Eastern Conference champs went 56-26.

He said the eye was still swollen and he doesn't suffer from blurred vision. "Now that I know that the guys are going to go out and play and every time we step on the court be the favorite, they're kind of buying time for me to make sure I'm all the way, 100 percent", he continued.

He stumped for Brett Brown to win National Basketball Association coach of the year, teammate Ben Simmons for rookie of the year and himself, naturally, to win National Basketball Association defensive player of the year. They were joined in double figures by Richaun Holmes (19 points), T.J. McConnell (16 points), Marco Belinelli (13 points) and Fultz (13 points). Philadelphia's win over Milwaukee extended the team's franchise-record winning streak to 16 games. Players such as Kyrie Irving and LeBron James have had to ditch them at the behest of the league, who prefer their players to rock clear masks.

Philadelphia's first-round opponent will be the 44-38 Miami Heat.

76ers: The NBA rule says players must wear a clear mask but Embiid and the Sixers could petition the league for a change.

At one stage on Wednesday, the Sixers led 72-37.
