While no solid evidence that the purported chemical attack has emerged, top USA officials have squarely pinned the blame for it on Damascus.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on Wednesday for action against Syria, as the USA and its allies appear to be gearing up for a military strike against the Syrian government over a suspected chemical attack in Douma that Damascus denies.

This was the reaction of Russian officials regarding United States and also a number of its worldwide nations who threatened the use of military actions against the Syrian govt and also its primary friend, Russia. Dozens of Douma inhabitants died and hundreds were injured in the attack, according to the World Health Organisation.

Earlier on Wednesday, Donald Trump warned Russian Federation to "get ready" for "nice and new and "smart" missiles targeting Syria.

The Syrian government and its ally Russian Federation have denied that such an attack ever happened.

Russia's diplomat to Lebanon Alexander Zasypkin pointed out that Russian Federation will react to pretty much any U.S. missiles launched in neighbouring Syria by shooting all of them down, as well as targeting their launch locations.

Earlier on Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin urged Netanyahu in a phone conversation to do nothing to destabilise Syria.

"Do not test the determination of the State of Israel", Netanyahu warned Iran on Wednesday, speaking to mark Holocaust Remembrance Day, or Yom Hashoah.
