Heather Locklear Has Reportedly Entered Rehab Following Her Domestic Violence Arrest

Heather Locklear is in treatment after her arrest for domestic violence, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly.

After her domestic violence arrest, friends were quoted as saying that Locklear seemed to be "really getting back on track", until lately, when she began "spiraling out of control".

The actress was arrested at her home February 25 on suspicion of felony domestic battery and three counts of battery on a peace officer.

The City of Thousand Oaks Police Department also revealed that detectives searched Locklear's home on Tuesday after obtaining a warrant.

A source confirmed to Us Weekly that Locklear is now in a medical treatment facility.

Her stint in rehab was reportedly heavily encouraged by her daughter Ava, 20, whom she shares with ex-husband Richie Sambora.

Last year, when she went to a facility for the fifth time, she said, "I am feeling great and am taking steps to enrich and better my life".

"The spokesperson added, "[Locklear] had claimed that she was injured prior to our arrival, although we did not see any evidence of it. "She was immediately uncooperative", Capt. Garo Kuredijan told the Daily News at the time.

But her plan backfired when cops showed up on her doorstep and tried to put her in handcuffs.

Still, the source said Locklear isn't totally convinced she has a problem, and instead thinks the whole mess is a "mistake" to be blamed on her brother and boyfriend Chris Heisser. She posted $20,000 bail and was released the following day. The Associated Press said last week that she had been released and was due in court on March 13, but TMZ reported Wednesday that Locklear is still undergoing treatment at an unnamed facility.
