San Francisco Police Seek Raider Aldon Smith After Domestic Incident

The victim in this case suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Smith's fiancée, Shawna McKnight, is the alleged victim and told TMZ Sports that the athlete called her parents to help him check into rehab.

Former Oakland Raiders EDGE man Aldon Smith has found himself in the headlines once again for the wrong reasons following a domestic violence incident that occurred over the weekend.

Dispatch goes on to report, "Caller saying Smith bit her wrists and climbed out her window..."

"I cannot comment on the altercation, but I can tell you I love him and [am] so happy he turned to my family who considers him family, and hopefully he gets the help he truly needs."

Oakland's Aldon Smith is entering rehab.

Last year, Smith was detained for "public intoxication" after a auto crash with an unmarked police vehicle. At that time, Smith conducted a freakish interview with the media following an incident last March 9.

Smith came into the league as a first-round pick out of the University of Missouri in 2011, drafted by the 49ers.

He was sentenced to 20 days in jail after pleading no-contest to a hit-and-run charge from an incident on August 6, 2015, for which he was charged with driving under the influence for the third time.

Smith was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Year in 2012, which is the same year he made the Pro Bowl and was named first-team All-Pro.

Smith has been in trouble before.

He hasn't played an National Football League snap since the 2015 season. He has 47.5 career sacks in 59 games.
