WhatsApp is the second biggest messanging app in the world - second only to Facebook Messenger, which had 1.2 billion users as of late April. Such businesses with accounts can use this tool to help keep up with massive high volume messages through WhatsApp more efficiently.
"WhatsApp Business enables you to have a business presence on WhatsApp, communicate more efficiently with your customers, and help you grow your business", the company says.
The businesses will have Confirmed Accounts by verifying the account's phone number with business phone number. Businesses can also send and receive messages from the WhatsApp Business interface on a desktop computer. WhatsApp Business, however, is meant to open a new channel of communication between businesses and their customers. You can also list your useful information such as a business description, email or store addresses, and website.
Small business can download the app for free and create a Business profile.
Facebook-owned messaging giant Whatsapp has launched a new app targeted for businesses, known as "WhatsApp Business". You can set quick replies to frequently asked questions, greeting messages to introduce people to your business. The new app will eventually add new paid-for capabilities presumably designed for larger enterprises at some point in the future.
Already, it's forked APKs were out but now the official version of the Whatsapp Business is available from the Play Store. You'll also retain the ability to block numbers and report spam. This app also makes sure that the customers are talking to legit businesses.
