More snow in store for Minneapolis and St. Paul

Minor accumulations are expected with the two rounds of snowfall, with most of Kansas City seeing about 2 inches of snow, according to the Weather Service.

As morning turns to afternoon, the snow comes to an end, but the clouds stick around. Some intrigue remains for Tuesday, with the possibility of some snow Tuesday night. There are still some details that need to be figured out. but at this point, there appears to be a chance for some light snow accumulation Monday night into early Tuesday. Most areas will see snow ending by sunrise.

It's also possible that the snow changes to rain in southeastern MA.

Actual temperatures likely won't get higher than 17 this weekend and will drop to four below on Saturday overnight.

Monday: Morning light snow, then mostly cloudy and cold. Wednesday night lows will be in the teens.

Even colder weather moves in after Monday though. Due to these dangerously low wind chills, a Wind Chill Advisory will be in place beginning at 5 PM on Monday through noon on Tuesday. Heading out the door Tuesday morning, air temperatures will be near zero, if not a few degrees below zero. Low temperatures for Atlanta will drop into the low 20's Sunday morning, with wind chills in the teens. Temperatures will start to rebound starting on Wednesday though.
