After Mumbai Kamala Mills, Now Cinevista Studio on Fire, 150 people make Narrow Escape: - Reports are coming that after a massive fire which almost killed 14 people in Mumbai's Kamala Mills compound similar news is coming straight from the Cinevista Studio in Mumbai's Kanjurmarg area.
Mumbai (Maharashtra), Jan 08 (ANI): A fire broke out in Mumbai Sessions Court premises located at Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Marg on Monday.
No casualties have been reported. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) disaster officials too said, "As per complainant, no one has been trapped".
After Investigation it was found a short circuit led to the fire.
The fire department received the call at 8:07 pm. Four fire engines and water tankers along with an ambulance were immediately rushed to the spot to bring fire under control. Reportedly, it was a level three fire, but now the situation is under control.
According to a sessions court official, the judges presided over their respective courts as usual from 11 am.
Both these fires came a week after a major tragedy at Mumbai's Kamala Mills, where 14 people were killed after in a midnight blaze at a popular pub.
According to reports, proceedings inside the court are expected to be affected as the upper portion of the third floor has been badly affected in the fire. There were about 150 people trapped inside who were successfully rescued.
