Users can download the new game, being able to play the new 60 turns for free. And as a full version reconfigured for touch controls on Apple's iPad, the turn-based war strategy game will let gamers walk, pace, and move, untethered by a PC or a game console.
"It is rare for a premium game experience from PC/Mac to launch on iPad, and it's important to note this isn't a trimmed-down mobile version of Civilization VI". The mobile port has been developed by Aspyr Media, the studio that has previously ported titles from series like Civilization, Borderlands, BioShock and others to macOS and Linux. Running on iOS 11 on the iPad Air 2, iPad 2017 and iPad Pro, while the game will cost a hefty $60 (it's now available for $29.99 until January 4th), being able to play Civilization VI while on the move will be an experience that fans of the series will find worthy of shelling out for. In the beginning, 2K Games launched this game on Windows PC and Mac in October 2016. This availability seems rather interesting given the fact that this game was made available just about a year ago on PC. More than that, Civilization VI on iPad has multiplayer (but it's LAN only right now). Bigger games can tend to wear a device's battery down quickly, and although iOS device specs are impressive it's not always possible to dedicate all that beef towards running a single game. Today, you can get the PC version for $30, and the deluxe version with additional content is just $10 more. As for the new iPad port, that comes from Aspyr as well. The game has sold more than 8 million copies.
Play as one of 20 historical leaders including Roosevelt (America) and Victoria (England). For a limited time, the game is on sale for $30, the same as the PC version. This is the first time the main series has been available on iPad.
