LaVar Ball seemed to escalate his feud with US President Donald Trump on Thursday. 'I want them to go somewhere where they will play them together on the court at the same time.

The middle son, LiAngelo, was involved in a highly publicized incident in China that resulted in the arrest of three UCLA players for theft from a handful of high-end stores during the UCLA men's basketball team's trip overseas for a game.

LaVar Ball's middle son, LiAngelo, withdrew from UCLA earlier this week, about a month fter he and two teammates caused an worldwide stir by getting arrested on shoplifting charges during a team trip to China.

As the two younger Balls' agent, Gaines will now oversee the process of finding their next team, and has already fielded interest from teams in Europe and Asia.

LaVar's decision to hire an agent ends any chance of LaMelo (who's now ranked No. 7 nationally in ESPN's class of 2019 high school recruiting rankings) playing college basketball.

Of course, LiAngelo made national news while visiting China with his now-former UCLA Bruins teammates last month.

"LiAngelo could probably play third division in Spain, France or Germany", an National Basketball Association scout told Yahoo Sports. Ball then said he sent the President three pairs of Big Baller Brand shoes-one in red, one in white and one in blue-but that Trump didn't thank him for the gesture. Conversely, it would take a $2,500 bet on LiAngelo going undrafted to win only $100 - a significantly more likely scenario.

"He was going to struggle with the explosiveness and athleticism college basketball brings compared to high school". Because they've retained professional representation, they will not be allowed to play college basketball. Ball said the entire family came to an agreement "that was the best thing for him".
