"We're thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out", Ross Duffer told New York Magazine at the time.

The massively popular supernatural show will be returning for a third season, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. "We just have to keep adjusting the story".

We're barely over season two of Stranger Things but the lovely people have Netflix have already confirmed there'll be a season three coming to our screens soon.

Steve's relationship advice for Dustin, focusing on his crush on new character Sadie Sink and ending with Steve giving Dustin hair advice for the Snow Ball, is a connection fans will be eager to see in season 3.

Stranger Things has been given the go-ahead for season three by Netflix. The streaming giant made the announcement via Twitter on Friday, Dec. 1, first opening things up with a poll of its followers, asking, "Should we make another season of Stranger Things?". Nielsen says 15.8 million American viewers watched the first episode of the series' second season by its third day of release. "So hold tight baby darts - season 3 is officially happening", Netflix tweeted. Apparently, the Mind Flayer isn't content with being locked in the Upside Down by the tiny telekinetic. "I think we've clearly implied there are other numbers, and I can't imagine that the world will only ever know Eleven and Eight", Matt Duffer said. We also know that a few new characters and at least one previously deceased character will return in some capacity.
