During the premiere episode of Floribama Shore on Monday, MTV aired a short teaser announcing the revival.

The original cast members - including Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Deena Nicole Cortese, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino - will come together for Jersey Shore Family Vacation. Unfortunately, Sammi Giancola would not be part of the show for some unknown reasons. This, for sure, will bring fans a trip down memory lane as their favorite reality stars will be once again reunited.

The show will air on MTV in 2018, though it's unclear whether it will be a one-off special, a limited run, or an actual series added to MTV's lineup.

Five years after the end of Jersey Shore, the reality show that unleashed Snooki, GTL, and DTF upon the world, the visionaries at MTV are getting the gang back together for an official reunion. Here, the cast relived the past and visited familiar places, shared their stories, and updated each other's lives.

The series' first episode, airing at 9 p.m. CT, drew a.94 rating among the network's core demographic of people between the ages of 18 to 34, and 846,000 viewers overall, according to network-supplied figures.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water.
