Marquise Goodwin scored a touchdown yesterday, helping him lead his team to victory.

Morgan Goodwin also posted on Instagram that she had to deliver her "precious baby boy early this morning due to pre-term labor".

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Marquise Goodwin impressed crowds on Sunday by scoring an 83-yard touchdown. "The pain (physically, mentally, & emotionally) that she has endured is unbelieveable".

He was visibly emotional in the end zone, pointing to the sky and putting his hands in a prayer position while his teammates gathered around him.

Goodwin helped the 49ers earn their first win of the season, putting their record at 1-9.

ESPN reported that Goodwin left the Niners' locker room as soon as the game ended Sunday to return to his family. Goodwin has shown tremendous strength in his performance as a player, but also as a father and a husband, on Sunday. "Please Pray for the Goodwin family", Goodwin wrote.

Both Goodwin and Goodwin-Snow are career athletes; they were stars on the track team at the University of Texas at Austin.

"Despite our loss, my hubby kept grinding, scored his son a touchdown & got our first "W" of the season", she added.

Goodwin did not speak with the press after the game but revealed the tragedy in a heartbreaking Instagram post later in the day.

"I just wanna thank those who've genuinely prayed for @morganakamomo & myself through out this pregnancy".
