The Chile global is out of contract next summer, with no sign he will extend his current deal with Arsenal.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger conceded on Thursday that he may have no option but to sell star players Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window. "I always said the fact that we didn't find an agreement previous year doesn't mean the player will necessarily leave".
Both players look happy here and overall I hope the situation can be turned around'.
"I don't think he will be available before the next global break".
"No, not at the moment", said Wenger, when asked if talks between Arsenal and the duo were in the pipeline, according to Sky Sports.
Meanwhile, Wenger said he would be speaking to Sanchez to assess his mental state after the striker and his Chile side missed out on a place at next year's World Cup finals.
The Arsenal attacker suffered World Cup heartbreak as a defeat to Brazil, combined with a Lionel Messi-inspired win for Argentina and a 1-1 draw between Colombia and Peru, saw Chile fail to qualify for Russian Federation 2018.
"I believe he and Ramsey are winners and will want to focus on winning things".
Asked if he was anxious about Sanchez's mental state, Wenger said: "I will have to speak to him".
Wenger might have given them an opening after admitting there is possibility that the two could be could. In the best form I have seen him for a long time.
Another possible departure from Arsenal in January is Jack Wilshere, after reports indicated he was considering leaving the club in order to force his way into England's World Cup squad.
