Apple Inc. (AAPL) Watch Gets Weaker Speeds On T-Mobile Network

Customers will be able to pre-order iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus and order Apple Watch Series 3 beginning today at Bell and The Source stores, and all will be available in stores starting on Friday, September 22. The most noteworthy differences: The iPhone 8 lacks the dual-cameras and new Portrait Mode and Lighting features of the iPhone 8 Plus. The Watch can now connect to a cellular network, which fixes the most annoying thing about the older versions: that they relied so heavily on your phone.

The Watch Series 3 comes in two variants. However, the backtracking likely came about after the carrier realize that none of the other USA mobile networks were imposing data speed limits on the new Apple Watch.

Why is the Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular connectivity not coming to India now? In addition to providing Voice over LTE (VoLTE) technology, Bell is launching NumberShare, a service that enables customers to pair their Apple Watch Series 3 with their iPhone using the same phone number.

That reflects in Apple's zooming sales in India. iPhone sales in India surged more than 50% in the year ended September 2016, when the smartphone maker reported its first annual sales and profit decline in 15 years.

Apple has also introduced Bluetooth 5, a feature that will allow the user to play audio through more than one set of wireless headphones simultaneously, allowing playback sharing without the use of adapters. In the past, when Apple announced new iPhones, your options were to get the iPhone with the standard-size screen or the one with the bigger screen.

The Apple TV is now capable of playing movies and TV shows at 4K Ultra HD resolution.

The differences between the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X are very distinct. Unlike iPhones, the Apple Watch has limited LTE bands over the countries. On contract, pricing starts at $41.63/month for the iPhone X.

"It's the equivalent of beachfront spectrum, the stuff that works better in buildings and travels further from the tower", T-Mobile CEO John Legere said in a video posted earlier this year announcing the carrier's blockbuster $8 billion purchase of the coveted spectrum.

We can just hope at least one Indian carrier starts offering the Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular in the coming months to cater to the geeks and Apple fans out there. Customers can also save up to $300 when trading in their previous iPhone.
