Taylor Swift comes out of hiding

You wouldn't gatecrash someone's private wedding to catch a glimpse of a bridesmaid - at least, we hope you wouldn't - but the presence of Taylor Swift at her pal's Saturday nuptials was apparently enough to draw a vocal crowd.

Abigail looked handsome in an off-white and light pink gown which featured a sweetheart neckline and a flared out tulle skirt.

"Swifties", or die-hard fans of the 10-time Grammy Award victor, might recognize the name "Abigail" from Swift's song "Fifteen" on her 2008 album, "Fearless". She looked elegant on her golden hair and signature red lipstick.

Taylor's mother Andrea was also at the ceremony as the group watched Abigail tie the knot with her photographer beau Matt Lucier.

Jetting off to Martha's Vineyard, the "Ready for It?" singer was snapped dutifully helping the blushing bride up the steps of Old Whaling Church in Edgartown, Massachusetts, as she held the blush train on her bestie's soft pink Stella York gown.

It's not the first time the songstress has acted as bridesmaid - indeed, she had the role of maid of honour in February a year ago.

Taylor continued her tactical plan for the roll out of her new album, Reputation, by giving a one minute preview of her nw song in collaboration with ESPN.

Taylor Swift was booed by fans after she tried to avoid them at a wedding.
