Google is yet to assign a developer to fix the battery related Android Oreo bugs.

The nicknames for earlier Android versions have included Nougat, Marshmallow, and Lollipop.

There is no set time when specific devices will get the new version. One such change happened in the 4th developer preview and it allowed notification sounds to play through the earpiece speaker when you're in the middle of a phone call. Among the new features arriving with Google's latest mobile operating system update, Android 8.0 Oreo, is a new defense system against malware trickery when installing apps from outside of Google Play.

The update comes equipped with new and exciting features such as the Picture-in-Picture mode, a revamped notifications panel, a smoother user interface and more. The company has promised latest and regular Android updates for all the Nokia devices, no matter what price segment they belong to. This works on all apps straight out of the box with Android Oreo.

Android Oreo can select text on screen with a bit more intelligence-if you tap and hold on a recognizable bit of text (like a phone number), then Android can automatically highlight the whole lot for you. As for Moto phones from 2016, the likes of Moto G4 series to get the update as it still falls under the 18-month timeframe.

Will include Over 60 New Emoji in it. The code is already released - for example, to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) - and Pixel and Pixel and Nexus 5X/6P device owners will see a rollout over "next several weeks".
