Gionee has launched a new budget smartphone in India today, dubbed the Gionee X1.
Alok Shrivastava, Director - Business Intelligence and Planning, Gionee India said, "Gionee has always been committed to amaze its customers with premium quality products at attractive prices". It is available in the country via offline retail stores.
Gionee has partnered with Airtel and PayTm to announce two new offers. Airtel subscribers who purchase the Gionee X1 will be receiving additional 10 GB data for a period of six months when recharging a data pack of 1 GB or higher. The smartphone also comes with a fingerprint sensor that is located on the back. The processor is shipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB. It runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat with the customized Amigo 4.0 UI laid on top. We are not so sure the Gionee X1 may make it past Nougat. Already we have given the Gionee X1 Price In India as above. Available in two eye catching color variants, the powerful Gionee X1 offers more bang for the buck with a premium design at a pocket friendly price. It looks like Gionee X1 will be competing against the rivals Xiaomi Redmi 4 and YU Yureka Black. While the rear camera gets an LED flash, the selfie camera does not. For selfies and video calling, there is a front camera of 8 megapixels too.
It also comes with connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB port. One can count on the accelerometer, light sensor, gyroscope, gravity and proximity sensor as the sensors fitted on the new Gionee X1. Dimension wise, the handset measures 144.3×72.2×8.8mm and is backed by a 3000mAh battery as we have mentioned above.
