The extent of Cruise's injuries are not yet known.

He then made his way back to the scaffolding he originally jumped from and could be seem walking away with the crew.

Ouch! Tom Cruise appeared to injure himself while filming a stunt on the set of Mission: Impossible 6 in London on Sunday, August 13. However, he landed short and crashed hard into the side of the building. Neither Cruise's representatives nor Paramount Pictures returned messages today. According to TIME, Cruise previously filmed a stunt on a roof before but that time it was in Paris.

Cruise has a ton of experience performing his own stunts, which have played a large role in the marketing of the Mission: Impossible film series.

The 55-year-old actor was filming the latest movie in the Mission: Impossible franchise when he was hurt on set.

In fact, Cruise was recently spotted filming some high-octane "Mission: Impossible 6" stunts in Paris, including riding a motorcycle that crashes into a auto and sends him flying into the air, and was also spotted parachuting from a plane in Oxfordshire.

Mission: Impossible 6 is now expected to hit theaters on July 27, 2018.

"What Tom is doing in this movie I believe will top anything that's come before", said Ellison.

However the fearless jump is misjudged as the 55-year-old slams into a building and is momentarily left hanging in the air.
