If you tap this link, and you have a copy of Breath of the Wild in your system, you'll spawn in game and get three pieces of food, split between basic meat and apples.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild relies a lot more on consumable items than previous games in the series, so if you're running low, you might be wondering where you can turn to for a pick-me-up or three.
In an unexpected reveal, Nintendo has detailed how from August 9 you'll be able to download new items to use in Zelda: Breath Of The Wild - after receiving them free from the Zelda news channel.
The news channel will allow players to obtain in-game items, though it's now unclear what those items might be. I guess this is Nintendo's way of making us pay attention to the news channel? Once you open the game via one of those articles, an in-game item will become available. But this might be a fun way to throw some extra weapons or food at players just to get them to check into the News Channel occasionally, right?
According to the update page, some items may be unobtainable depending on your location and progress through the game.
I'm looking forward to being totally off-base and getting some kind of silly hat via the News Channel, though.
