Lenovo K8 Note officially launched with 4000 mAh of battery

The Lenovo K8 Note will also feature a 4,000 mAh battery unit. The base variant is priced at Rs 12,999 whereas the top-end model is priced at Rs 13,999. We spent some time with the phone and found it to be an impressive offering for the price. Redmi Note 4 features a single a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter.

A pair of Lenovo handsets paid a visit to Geekbench one after the other in the past week, showing off some of their key specifications.

A new addition is the dedicated hardware music key on the left side that lets you control music playback on the phone and can also be customized for other functions (only for long press). All three smartphones support a dedicated microSD card slot.

Also, the phone may looks with the 5.5-inch HD display, inside it is either Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core or 1.4GHz Mediatek MT6797 Helio X20 processor. The phone is exclusively available on Amazon. It includes 3 GB of RAM. Previous K-series phones came with Vibe Pure UI on top, but we think that it is a smart move to offer stock Android. You get Android 7.1.1 Nougat with the July security patch out-of-the-box. The phone comes preloaded with Microsoft apps including Word, Powerpoint, Skype, OneNote etc. The Lenovo K8 Note also features a trio of capacitive navigation touch buttons and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, which is located in the middle of the back panel. The cameras act together to click pictures featuring depth of field, giving the phone an ability to distinguish between the background and the subject better and create bokeh-like effects. You get the same kind of metal unibody design. The first impression of this phone is good and I hope it will perform the same as it boasts. However, video recording is limited to 1080p resolution and lacks 4k. On the front, it has a 13Mp sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash that Lenovo calls the party flash. The Pro mode is available for both front and rear camera.

Lenovo launched a new smartphone in India on Tuesday. The Lenovo K8 Note is slated to compete with several brands like Samsung, Honor, Coolpad, Nokia and others, but the biggest rival now is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
