Andy Serkis Resurrects Gollum to Read Donald Trump's Tweets

President Donald Trump has a penchant for tweeting most freaky and inappropriate and statements.

Serkis was a guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday, where he talked about his latest movie, War for the Planet of the Apes that premiers on Friday. The tremendous reading is from a message that Donald Trump tweeted out on June 13th, 2017 at 3:53 A.M. about his disdain for the so called "fake media". "Or so dirty. Purposely incorrect stories and phony sources to meet their agenda of hate".

Trump's infamous tweets have already been read aloud by the likes of Mark Hamill as the Joker (multiple times) and Billy West's doofus Captain Zapp Brannigan from Futurama.

The audience roared with laughter as Serkis asked presenter Stephen Colbert, while still in character: "Wait, what's covfefe, Precious?"

"No one knows", Colbert responded.

But would the English author have made of Gollum (Andy Serkis) reading President Trump's tweets with such delicious high-pitched devotion?

"I got to say, they actually sound better that way", Colbert noted of Serkis' performance.

Though we could easily have spent the rest of the night listening to Gollum read some of those outrageous, 140-character declarations, the bit is only a few tweets long.
