Of Microsoft 365 Enterprise, Althoff said, "It provides customers with the latest and most advanced technology for empowering employees".

I'd expect Microsoft to evolve this SKU over time and seeing as it is being called "Microsoft 365", this is the all-inclusive iteration of its service model. Microsoft 365 Business will be available in public preview starting August 2. Microsoft 365 Business is created to give small- to medium-sized businesses "a complete productivity and security solution" and includes Office 365 Business Premium, security and management features for Office apps and Windows 10 devices, and a centralized console for deploying and securing devices and users.

Small to medium-sized companies (of up to 300 staff) can benefit from Microsoft 365 Business, which combines Office 365 Business Premium with various hand-picked security and management features drawn from Windows 10 and the aforementioned Enterprise Mobility + Security offering. And given the advancement and growing popularity of both the techs, it will come as no surprise if Microsoft decides to integrate AR and VR tech in their new handheld Windows 10 device. These subscriptions will make it easier for businesses to buy Microsoft software together.

A week after announcing up to 3,000 layoffs amidst a reorganization of its Microsoft Azure sales strategy, the company has further consolidated its software portfolio under the unified Microsoft 365 banner. The cost? $20 per user, per month.

Microsoft commented in a blog post: "Microsoft 365 represents a fundamental shift in how we will design, build and go to market to address our customers' needs for a modern workplace". And that's interesting, right?

Selling Microsoft 365 as opposed to Office 365 alone will also be a boost to partners, especially with an installed base of 500 million active Windows 10 devices and 100 million monthly active Office 365 users, Microsoft executives say.

Support for Microsoft's Tap to Pay system Microsoft Wallet has been slowly rolling our amongst banks in the US.

I wonder when they will announce a consumer offering.
