Adele Cancels The Final Shows Of Her World Tour

Adele is begging fans for their forgiveness after posting a heartfelt message. "I'll keep everything crossed that you're able to reschedule".

She continued: "To say I'm heartbroken would be a complete understatement". Adele has explained to fans that she is truly devastated at having to cancel her last two Wembley appearances. I felt like I constantly had to clear my throat, especially last night.

Most fans understood that there was no way Adele could have performed after damaging her vocal cords.

The Grammy award victor said she saw a doctor on Friday night, who advised her not to perform over the weekend.

"I obviously was upset, but it's absolutely no problem, she's got to look after herself", says Paige Bithell, from Blackburn.

She said that she had considered "lip miming" the last two scheduled shows for a chance to be with her fans in person, but decided against it saying, "I can not in a million years do that to you".

She said she was so desperate to complete the last two concerts of her world tour, she'd even considered miming to get through, but in the end she could never do that. "The only reason I tour is you".

Earlier this week, Adele kicked off the first show of a four-night residency at the legendary Wembley Stadium.

Information for refunds for the cancelled Adele shows have yet to be announced.

The British singer was slated to sing at London's Wembley Stadium on Saturday, July 1, and Sunday, July 2. Further details will be released in the coming days.

"We've seen on Twitter that quite a few people are going down there anyway in support of Adele".

Adele has been forced to cancel her final two gigs.

In total, Adele has performed 121 shows on this run.

The news comes after she recently hinted that she may never tour again, during her London concert on Wednesday. I only ever did this tour for [the fans] and to hopefully have an impact on [them] the way that some of my favorite artists have had on me. I'm not sure if touring is in my bag.

It's been four-and-a-half years since her last United Kingdom concert so here's hoping.
