Sony Producer Amy Pascal has confirmed that Black Cat and Venom, Silver and Black and Venom movies, respectively, will be sharing the same universe as Spider-Man: Homecoming. Considering Kevin Feige also smiled during this part of the interview, it seems like Sony and Marvel are working together to allow Spider-Man to roam freely between the MCU and whatever this side universe that Sony is creating. Specifically, Spidey fans have wondered about the chances of crossover if Sony continued to develop spinoff feature films with characters like Venom and Black Cat.
With less than three weeks to go until the wall-crawler swings back into theaters, Marvel and Sony have unveiled a new poster for Spider-Man: Homecoming, which we have for you here; take a look... The film is set for release on July 5th in the United Kingdom and July 7th in the States.

Spider-Man: Homecoming sees Tom Holland and Marisa Tomei reprising their roles from Captain America: Civil War as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Aunt May, alongside Marvel veterans Robert Downey Jr.as Tony Stark and Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan. The Black Cat/Silver Stable movie is a little farther behind in development. Prince-Bythewood dipped her toe in the comic book pond for the first time earlier this year, by directing the pilot for Marvel's Cloak and Dagger series. Though we've seen the wallcrawler have multiple costumes in the comics, this is undoubtedly one of the suits that has stood out above the rest.
The development of these Spider-Man spin-offs seem counter-intuitive considering how successful Spider-Man: Homecoming looks to be this summer, now tracking between $90 million and $108 million for an opening weekend.
