While Assassin's Creed: Origins is primarily supposed to be Bayek's story, certain parts of the campaign will be played through the eyes of other characters. Ashraf didn't deny or confirmed it directly and said that there will be other playable characters.

Although we don't think anyone would say there's been any clear "winner" at this year's E3, in terms of chatter on Twitter, Facebook, and all the rest it's Microsoft who's been the most popular. The director emphasized that the game is a single-player experience, because the team wants to focus on the game's protagonist (Bayek) and the formation of the Assassins' Brotherhood. Assassin's Creed's combat mechanics have been completely revamped for Origins with light and heavy attacks mapped to your right-hand triggers, and a shield-based block placed on the top-left trigger.

Ubisoft managed to rectify their standing with the media with Assassin's Creed: Syndicate by introducing a playable female Assassin in the game from start to finish, but it turned out to be the worst selling mainline entry in the series. The game will have 4K resolution and 30fps on both the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X consoles.

Nevertheless, with Assassin's Creed: Origins they've taken a lot of design gimmicks from other third-person hack and slash games, such as Dark Souls. The subsidiary is responsible for founding and developing the Far Cry, Assassin's Creed, Tom Clancy, and Watch Dogs franchises.
