MI native among those shot in GOP baseball shooting

Hodgkinson was allegedly armed with a rifle when he approached a baseball field in Alexandria where a congressional practice just outside of Washington, D.C.in Alexandria, Virginia.

His family has said baseball is Mika's passion. He's an Oakland County native and graduate of Adrian College.

A top Republican congressman, members of the U.S. Capitol Police, a congressional aide and a lobbyist were injured when a gunman opened fire at a baseball practice.

U.S. Rep. Mike Bishop gave an eyewitness account Wednesday to Detroit radio station WWJ.
