Sure, we can play as Prompto in PSVR, but that wasn't enough.
Having sold over one million units, Sony's PlayStation VR headset has been a rip-roaring success and so it only made sense for it to be at E3 2017 in a big way.
Both Episode Prompto and the Regalia Type-D will be coming to Final Fantasy XV in its June update scheduled for release on June 27, 2017. Future DLC episodes include "FINAL FANTASY XV: EPISODE IGNIS" and "Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades".
And finally, the "Regalia Type-D" that allows you to go off-roading on the royal auto will be available on June 27, alongside the release of Episode Prompto.
The full list of what's available as part of Final Fantasy 15 Universe can be seen in the trailer above. This game features "a completely new story and world with multiplayer support for up to four players" and will be available in 2017 for iOS and Android devices.
It all looks a little different to Final Fantasy 15's first VR debut, which focused on first-person encounters with Behemoth and Cindy.
Final Fantasy XV is available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. These links leave Siliconera.
